The Now TV app, which allows users to watch on-demand TV shows, movies and sporting events, is now available on PS4.

Vice President and Managing Director for Sony Computer Entertainment U.K. Fergal Gara confirmed the news, saying: "PlayStation4 has been a great success since we launched just over seven months ago, proving that the world's most powerful console is also the best place to play. With the addition of the brilliant NOW TV to the PlayStation entertainment proposition, PS4 keeps getting better."

Users will be able to access various Sky programmes from the likes of Sky 1, Sky Atlantic and Sky Sports by paying a monthly subscription cost or purchasing a day pass. A pass for Sky Movies will cost £8.99.
