Lords of the Fallen dev announces futuristic dystopian action RPG for release in 2017

Publisher Focus Home Interactive has today announced that it is partnering with Lords of the Fallen developer Deck13 Interactive to bring a “premium action RPG IP set in a dystopian sci-fi future” to PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms in 2017.

The title, which is yet to be named, is set to boast an innovative combat system in addition to a modular-upgrade driven character progression system.

Speaking about the partnership with European publishing powerhouse Focus Home Interactive, Deck13 Interactive CEO’s Florian Stadlbauer and Jan Klose were excited for the fruits of their labour saying, “We are delighted to be working with Focus Home Interactive. Our relationship with the company over the past few months has created a lot of trust and confidence already. During the past years, the Focus team has shown that they are extremely successful in marketing European titles worldwide.”’

Adding to these comments, Focus Home Interactive’s Managing Partner Cedric Lagarrigue went onto say,“We are ecstatic to announce this new partnership with one of the very best independent European development studios. We’ve been excited by Deck13’s new project since our first exchange with them, and as we’ve just got through the pre-production phase, we’re fully convinced by their capacities to deliver one of the most exciting RPGs to come in the future.”

With more information on this unannounced IP set to be revealed at a later date, Focus Home Interactive has nevertheless confirmed that the title will be available as both a physical and digital release for PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms when it releases sometime in 2017.
