Shenmue 3 will receive a physical PS4 copy release for those that pledge $60 or higher on the project’s Kickstarter, Awesome Japan announced today.
Originally the PS4 version was to be a digital-only release and a physical copy was “one of the most requested items” for a Kickstarter reward.
If you’ve already pledged $60 or more, don’t worry: a survey will be sent to you asking if you want a PS4 or PC, digital or physical copy of Shenmue 3.
At the time of writing, the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter sits at a little over $3.91 million with 14 days to go. After being unveiled at Sony’s PlayStation E3 2015 press conference, it became the fastest Kickstarter project to hit $1 million, setting a Guinness World Record.
