Update: Evidence is mounting that this rumored Amazon listing is fake. Reddit user FiNEk posted this apparent screenshot of the Photoshop layers comprising the image Gamemag.ru shared.
Original: Sucker Punch Productions is working on a PlayStation 4 remaster of the original inFAMOUS, according to an apparent listing on Amazon.
If Gamemag.ru is to be believed, the retail giant has posted a listing for the PS4 version of the superhero action-adventure game, dubbed inFAMOUS: Lightning Edition, with an accompanying release date of August 10, 2016. It’s available now for pre-order at just under $60.
Not only that, but the box art seemingly confirms that Sucker Punch is indeed working on the long-rumored Spider-Man title for PS4, as Lightning Edition comes with access to a demo of the web-slinger’s latest video game outing.
Nothing official has been announced by Sony or Sucker Punch at the time of writing, although Amazon has a solid reputation for outing games ahead of their announcement.
inFAMOUS launched on the PlayStation 3 back in 2009 and spawned a sequel, inFAMOUS 2, in 2011. The series made its PS4 debut two years ago with the visually-stunning inFAMOUS: Second Son, and received an expansion, First Light, a few months later.
