PS4-exclusive Detroit to wow us at E3 2016

Quantic Dream’s upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive Detroit will be putting in an appearance at E3 2016 next week.

Confirmation comes via Greg Miller of PS I Love You XOXO fame, who said earlier this week that he’s “excited to open Tuesday with Horizon [Zero Dawn], Batman/Walking Dead, Detroit” plus more.

Presumably this means that the game will be showing up during Sony’s E3 press conference, which kicks off on Monday evening.

Detroit was originally announced during Sony’s Paris Games Week press conference in October 2015, and is partly based on the Kara tech demo that was unveiled for the PlayStation 3 back in early 2012.

"The entire game is really built around this idea that the player is the core writer of the experience and that he will tell his own story through his actions," commented Quantic Dream’s David Cage. "Our theme is really what does it mean to be human, what does it mean to have emotions, and those kind of things and this is really what we want to talk about."

Detroit has yet to attract a release date.
