TIME Magazine has released their top 25 best inventions of 2016 and the PlayStation VR has made the list along with quite a few other neat items such as self-tying shoes and spherical tires.
“In order to access the most cutting-edge virtual reality, people typically have to shell out thousands of dollars-not just for a headset, but for a computer that’s powerful enough to support it.” TIME continued, “Sony’s PlayStation VR, by contrast, is designed to work with a console that millions of people already own: the PlayStation 4.”

The PSVR sells for $400 alone, however it does require a PlayStation Camera and as TIME stated, a PS4.
