Bethesda is working on The Evil Within 2, according to a leaked job listing calling for a translator and Q&A bug reporter for the as-yet unconfirmed survival horror sequel (via NeoGAF).
While nothing official has been announced regarding The Evil Within 2 yet (or Psycho Break, as it’s known as in its native Japan), the job listing mentions PS4 and Xbox One in regards to platforms. Developer Tango Gameworks is believed to have been working on its new game for two years now, which is expected to be unveiled at some point in 2017.
It’s also worth mentioning that Bethesda, who published The Evil Within, one of the best horror games on PS4, has listed the horror title as a major IP under its umbrella of extensive gaming franchises, while Tango Gameworks itself has expressed interest in creating a franchise out of the game and doesn’t conceive of The Evil Within as a single, standalone game.

The Evil Within was released for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 back in October 2014, and is the brainchild of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. A sequel has been rumored before, with reports originally pegging it for an E3 2016 reveal, which obviously didn’t happen. Nonetheless, Bethesda said that The Evil Within 2 could still happen, as the original game was a commercial success.
