Resident Evil Revelations is due to hit PS4 and Xbox One in fall 2017, and will arrive in Japan on August 31. The game was initially released as an exclusive for the 3DS in early 2012, before being ported to the PS3, PC, Xbox 360, and Wii U the following year. Revelations takes place in between the events of Resident Evil 4 and 5, and sees Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield battling against a new bio-terrorism threat in the form of the T-Abyss Virus.

Capcom celebrated Resident Evil’s 20th anniversary in 2016 where it begun the process of releasing all the previous titles for current-generation consoles. To date, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 are all available on the PS4, with a full-blown remake of Resident Evil 2 currently in the pipeline. Where that leaves Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is anyone’s guess, although we can only hope it’ll receive a modern overhaul at some point down the line.
