In a new post on the PlayStation Blog, SIEA Social Media Senior Specialist Ryan Clements says that The Sims 4 on PlayStation 4 will feature “almost everything” from the PC version.
Exactly which content PS4 owners won’t get we don’t know, but Clements does go on to explain some of the stuff we will be seeing:
“Almost everything from the PC version appears on PS4,” says Clements. “That includes years of DLC, updates, and ghosts. Sim ghosts, but still impressive! For those looking for a content-rich, feature-complete experience, this is it.”
Micro-mangement will, of course, be the core game mechanic in The Sims 4 and judging by the time he’s spent playing we’ll be able to go as crazy as PC owners and create our own experiences.
“I bought a house, hosted an impromptu party (They just showed up by themselves, I swear!), started a career as a computer programmer (first task: play video games), and finally, played video games, “ wrote Clements. “An eventful day by any measure, and a small sample of the seemingly endless moments that make up everyday life in The Sims.”
The last Sims game on console was The Sims 3: Pets for PS3, so it’s been a long wait for a franchise that has been traditionally suited to a keyboard and mouse. Here’s hoping they do it justice!
The Sims 4 release date for PS4 and Xbox One is November 17, 2017.
