Internet rumors have indicated that developer Sony Bend is currently in the process of working on a new instalment in the popular Syphon Filter series for PlayStation 3.
Evidence supporting the existence of a fifth entry in the popular action series cropped up in the form of a wanted ad placed by Sony Bend, seeking a full time game tools programmer for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Slightly more convincing is a listing in the credits page of PCB Productions, a digital content creation company, where the firm mentions its mo-cap work for Syphon Filter 5. Unsurprisingly, the acknowledgement gives mention to both Sony Bend and PS3.
While this certainly looks promising, we advise our readers to take this strictly as a rumor for the time being. Stay tuned for more information as soon as it becomes available.
