Sony has always boasted how the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable are designed to work in perfect harmony together. However, outside of Remote Play, both machines haven’t really had a stable relationship.
With the upcoming release of Firmware 5.50 for PSP, however, users are given an information board similar to the one on PS3, informing gamers on the various changes and additions applied to the both the PS3 and PSP Stores.
Furthermore, this update also enables users to access sub-folders within their memory sticks for music, photos, and videos. In addition, the Internet browser receives an upgrade in the parental control area as well. Trend Micro’s Kid Safety service will now prevent minors from accessing illegal content from their web browsers, giving parents a little help in the parenting process.
A release date has yet to be announced.
