Konami has staple-gunned a U.S. release date to its upcoming PSP stealth ‘em up Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, confirming the game will launch there on May 25, 2010.
The company also revealed that Big Boss’s portable romp will arrive on European shores a few days later on May 28.
Featuring an original story created by legendary game designer, Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a title that has serious sales potential,” beamed Konami marketing boss, David Daniels.
“Kojima Productions has pushed the limits of the PSP system and we cannot wait to unveil their latest addition to the Metal Gear franchise to gamers this coming May.”
Peace Walker drops players in Costa Rica a decade after the events of MGS3: Snake Eater, as Big Boss and his band of mercenaries - Militaires Sans Frontières – attempt to counter a threat posed by an unknown military group.
