Konami has revealed that it is in the process of working a fresh installment in the Silent Hill franchise with a new, unknown developer at the helm.
Details are virtually non-existent, with the Japanese giant only letting slip that the game will be released on “next-gen consoles” – in this case, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Apparently, Konami will be revealing more info on the game at E3 in June, so expect the first concrete details to pop up around that time. For those out of the loop, the last Silent Hill title to hit PS3 and 360 came in the form of Silent Hill: Homecoming – not a bad game in itself, but certainly not the best the series has to offer.
Stay tuned for more news as it breaks.
