Mark Healey, co-founder of Media Molecule, has confirmed that Sack-tastic sequel LittleBigPlanet 2 will not include full PlayStation Move functionality at launch, though did reveal gamers can expect a taster of how the device will work with the game.
Chatting to the folks at VG247, Healey commented, "We’re really excited by giving the Move controller to the community,” he said. “We’re totally going to go to town on supporting that, but I don’t think we will have the full functionality at launch. There will be a taster, but it is something we are planning to do.”
In regards to playing the sequel with just PS Move and the sub-controller, Healey added, “I think that will have to be the case. We haven’t sat down and scoped that out entirely, but it seems like a bit of a no-brainer really.”
