LittleBigPlanet 2 details: custom voice acting, compatibility

We are sure fans of LittleBigPlanet have a lot of burning questions about the sequel, like how backwards compatible will it be, and will there really be custom voice acting?

Over at the PlayStation Blog, Sony has posted a Q&A (FAQ) about LittleBigPlanet 2. The sequel will have an all-new story mode, but all your costumes and stickers from the original will transfer to the new game. However, it seems the reverse will not work – new content for LBP2 will not work with LBP1. We should also expect to see a ton of new LBP1 content (costumes and such) leading up to the launch of the sequel.

Voice actor Stephen Fry is returning to narrate LBP2, but it also appears players will be able to create their own custom voice acting for their own levels. This should help create those extra personal levels.

We should expect to hear a lot more at E3, including more information on the new graphics engine, and details on new create tools.
