The news that the Street Fighter and Tekken franchises are teaming up for one big battle in Street Fighter X Tekken wasn’t the only Street Fighter-related news to have come out of Comic-Con this weekend.
Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono revealed that Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online is also in development, but at the time didn’t reveal whether it would be released as a full retail game or a downloadable title. Eurogamer now has the confirmation from Capcom that it will be a downloadble title, so we can expect to see it arrive on PSN – a release date has yet to be determined.
Hats off to who can tell us how many Street Fighter games have been released since the first arcade release in 1987?
