Dark Souls dev admits PSN outage ’caused us some problems’

PlayStation Network’s on-going downtime has ’caused some problems’ for the chaps behind online-heavy RPG Dark Souls, producer Kei Horono has admitted.

Despite this, Horono-san said developer From Software is in contact with Sony and doesn’t foresee any issues in regards to Dark Souls’ planned launch this October.

"I would be lying if I said the problems with PSN hadn’t caused us some problems," he told CVG, "but we are in contact with Sony and are aiming to meet a street date of October 11."

PSN has been offline since late April as a result of an “external intrusion,” with Sony saying earlier this week that the outage is likely to last for at least a few more days.
