Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in North America in January 2012, Square Enix has revealed.
News comes via a Twitter post by Square’s Emily Shoji. The date is also mentioned in a press release highlighting the Japanese giant’s Comic-Con line-up, which includes the likes of Dead Island and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Square had previously only committed to an ‘early 2012’ launch for the RPG sequel outside of Japan, with the game due out in the Land of the Rising Sun later this year.
