With the Helghast war machine on the march and keen to kill anyone who stands in its way, it pays to know how to beat MAWLR. This heavily armoured walker can be a real pain to stop if you don’t know what you’re doing. As such, we’ve cobbled together a video to show you a useful tactic to employ against this mammoth adversary, which generally involves cowering in the corner where you can’t get hit.
It turns out that MAWLR isn’t that difficult to beat if you know where to stand. If you’re in the wrong place you’ll get blown to shreds. Aside from the first couple of minutes of the fight, stay away from the bunkers because they’ll get obliterated, and don’t stand near to the sparking generators, or hang around the centre of the facility where the ground troops will appear.
This specific battle features in Chapter 8: The Reckoning. We’ve edited out the cut-scenes so there are no storyline spoilers to worry about.
