Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 18, 2014.
The stealth-action title acts as a prequel to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which picks up after Big Boss awakens from a nine-year coma following the events of Ground Zeroes.
In addition, Konami also unveiled some new content for the game featuring Metal Gear Solid 2’s Raiden. However, it appears this will be exclusive to the Xbox console versions of the title, though it remains unknown if this will be a fixed or timed exclusive affair.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released as a digital download in the U.S. and Europe on PS4 and Xbox One. PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will also receive a physical release, however.
