Epic Games boss Mark Rein has heaped praise on Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Vita following some hands-on time with the device at E3 last week.
In fact, Rein was so impressed by Sony’s new pocket brick that he went so far as to say he’s “lusting” after the portable.
"The Vita blew me away," he told Joystiq, adding, "I was shocked at how badly I wanted to take one of those home with me."
Elsewhere, Rein also brushed aside concerns that Vita will struggle to co-exist with the likes of the iPad and iPhone, describing Sony’s platform as a “completely different device” to its competitors.
"People are worried about where Vita lives in the world of iPod Touch and iPhone, but it’s a completely different device," he commented. "It’s hard until the device is in the market and people know how users are gonna respond, but I came away really lusting for one."
PlayStation Vita is due out later this year.
