The PlayStation 3 has always been a great media center, however, it seems that Sony now wishes to improve the PSN video service with a more intuitive application under the [Video] section of the XMB, called Video Unlimited.
With a boasted library of over 40,000 movies and TV shows, Video Unlimited will make it easier to find exactly what you want from the PlayStation Network with a slick new interface. Users can even search and browse content using favorite directors, actors, and genres. Check out the video below to check out all the interesting browsing features.
PlayStation Plus members can give the new service a try with the “Video Unlimited – Preview” application that can be downloaded later today via the PlayStation Store.
Note: This service is currently only listed for North America (Canada/U.S.)
Video Unlimited should be rolling out to all PS3s “within a few weeks.”
