Today was a day of preparation. Seb and I drove over to the convention center, picked up our passes for the event, spoke to some Sony folks, and took a whole load of pictures as well as a video or two. After that, we had to head back to home base to cover news from the EA and Ubisoft press conferences. It was fun, but the real excitement begins tomorrow, when the actual event kicks off.
I’ll be live blogging the SCEA press conference tomorrow at 11:00 AM PST. After that, Seb and I head over to the L.A. convention center to begin the gaming extravaganza that is E3. We have appointments set up with Activision, Codemasters, Warner Bros. and more tomorrow, so we’ll have plenty of gaming goodness to report on soon. Where’s Sony, you ask? We’ll be heading over to the Sony booth at 2:00 PM on Wednesday to check out all of the big first-party games. I’m quite excited to try out games like Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain, and I expect (and hope) that God of War III will also be playable.
