A Japanese blog has posted what appear to be images of a ‘PS3 Slim’ (a PS3 hardware redesign). From the look of the pictures, the machine already appears to be in production.
Sony recently denied plans to release new PS3 hardware. "We currently don’t have any plans for a redesigned PS3,” stated a Sony U.K. representative.
We were hesitant to report this as we have a few reasons to doubt the validity of these pictures, but after enough tips flooded our inbox we felt compelled to share it. Whether this ends up as fact or fiction, we’ve posted the pictures below.
