Bethesda today announced that the winner of multiple ‘Game of the Year’ awards, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has shipped 10 million units worldwide.
Not necessarily indicative of sales figures, the number is still impressive as it represents approximately $650 million in sales since release on November 11.
Additionally, Bethesda let us know that the PC version of Skyrim outsold all other PC games 3:1 in its month of release.
“We are gratified that Skyrim continues to garner high review scores and accolades around the world,” said Robert Altman, CEO of ZeniMax Media. “We are most grateful to our fans for their support and enthusiasm for the game, and their love of the hundreds of hours of gameplay it offers. We continue to strive to deliver the highest quality entertainment experience for everyone."
