Sony development boss Yoshio Matsumoto has reportedly said that the company is looking into a service that allows PSP owners to download their old UMD titles for PlayStation Vita at a “special price.”
In addition, a retailer in Japan (as reported by Andriasang) claims to have been in attendance at a Sony sales briefing recently, and was given a pamphlet pertaining to the use of UMDs on Vita.
Whether or not this relates to the same method hinted at by Matsumoto remains unknown, however.
