Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert has warned that Sony may risk losing the support of third-party developers if it fails to offer them some means of compensation as a result of the PlayStation Network outage.
"I have no idea yet what Sony are going to do to help developers such as ourselves but I have a feeling they are thinking about doing something or they will lose developers which of course is pretty bad for them,” said Cuthbert, during a chinwag with IndustryGamers.
"At the moment I think they are running around patching holes etc., and in a week or two they’ll have something more concrete to say."
Game developers have already voiced their concerns over the on-going PSN crisis, with Activision saying just this week that it’s hoping to see the service restored in time for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops’ Escalation Pack on PlayStation 3.
Sony’s latest update on the situation warned that the downtime looks set to continue for “at least a few more days."
