BioWare RPG Mass Effect 3 has shot straight to the top of the U.K. All Format Charts following its PAL debut last Friday.
The critically acclaimed sci-fi sequel is the biggest U.K. videogame release of 2012 thus far, with week one sales eclipsing the combined efforts of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.
Elsewhere on the charts, snowboarding reboot SSX slides to second place, with Capcom crossover brawler Street Fighter x Tekken debuting at number three. FIFA 12 and Mario Party 9 round out the Top Five.
