GameTrailers has bagged the first high quality footage of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’ single player campaign, showcasing the heroic Nathan Drake battling it out with armed goons in a dilapidated city street.
Seen below, the footage depicts Drake hopping surreptitiously between various cover spots as not to alert nearby foes, before grabbing an AK-47 assault rifle and filling the bad guys with hot lead. You’ll also witness the brash treasure hunter getting up close and personal with one unlucky foe via the game’s improved combat system. As you’d expect, it all looks utterly gorgeous — we can’t wait.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 in late 2009.
