DriveClub PS Plus Edition lets you unlock Platinum Trophy

Evolution Studios has shed more light on the upcoming PlayStation Plus Edition of DriveClub, which will be made free for subscribers to Sony’s premium service at PlayStation 4’s launch.

Speaking on NeoGAF (via Eurogamer), design director Paul Rustchynsky revealed that the PS Plus version is essentially the full package, albeit with a fewer cars and tracks. Crucially, you will be able to unlock the Platinum Trophy in this edition.

DriveClub PS Plus Edition will be up for grabs “well into the new year,” Rustchynsky added, so you’ll have plenty of time to think about snapping it up.

Elsewhere, he confirmed that the studio is working on a photo mode for DriveClub, and that there won’t be split-screen multiplayer.

DriveClub launches alongside the PS4 in the U.S. on November 15 and in Europe on November 29.
