Titanfall 2 could come to PS4, hints Respawn

Respawn Entertainment has reiterated that Titanfall won’t be coming to PlayStation 4, but insisted the studio will still make games for Sony’s next-generation console — possibly even a sequel to Titanfall.

The developer’s co-founder Vince Zampella took to Twitter (via VG247) to respond to fan questions on the matter, where he said “of course’ Respawn will produce software for the PS4.

“Just not the first Titanfall,” he added, fueling speculation that a possible sequel will turn up on Sony’s new box.

Titanfall was presumed a timed-exclusive to Microsoft’s current and next-generation consoles, though it was confirmed in Electronic Arts’ recent financial call that the game will remain exclusive to those platforms indefinitely.

“Always MS exclusive at launch, great partner and focus is good for a startup. EA made a deal for the rest, we only found out recently,” Zampella continued.
