Ubisoft has released a batch of comparison shots for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, juxtaposing the original PlayStation Vita release with the upcoming high-definition re-release for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.
As you can see from the shots below, Liberation HD has benefited from quite the facelift, with sharper textures and smoother character models in comparison to its handheld counterpart.
Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation stars female assassin Aveline de Grandpre, as she battles the Templar threat during the end of the French and Indian war in 18th century New Orleans. The HD version will retail for $15.99 and is due out on January 15.
