DriveClub, the PlayStation 4-exclusive racer from the creators of MotorStorm, will be released on either April 9 or September 4 (depending on your regional affiliation), according to a Tweet spotted by PlayStation Nation (via PushSquare).
The site spotted the date, posted by Evolution Studios on its official Twitter, before it was promptly taken down — but not before a snapshot could be taken by PSNation.
If this is indeed the real deal, then it likely pertains to the U.K. release date of DriveClub, as Evolution is a British-based developer.
DriveClub was previously scheduled to ship alongside the PS4 in November, but was postponed into early 2014. Rumors have pointed to a February release (which obviously didn’t transpire) and a summer launch, though nothing official has been announced as of yet.
The game is also set to be made available on PlayStation Plus as a stripped down digital release.
With GDC due to kick off next week, it shouldn’t be long until we hear an official announcement. Stay tuned to PSU.com for more updates.
