Sony sweeps the competition at the 2014 BAFTA Games Awards

The British Academy held it’s 10th annual Games Awards ceremony last night, and Sony Computer Entertainment was triumphantly represented by Naughty Dog and Media Molecule — the two celebrated studios shared a handful of eight awards to bring back home.

The most expected of victors, the likes of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, accumulated a total of five awards including the highest honor of Game of the Year. This is not the first event in which Naughty Dog sweeps the competition, although not necessarily on a grander scale this time around.

Media Molecule ended the night with cheery smiles across the board seeing that the team’s enchanting PlayStation Vita exclusive, Tearaway, earned a total of three awards.
