PSN maintenance for Easter Monday — report

According to TheSixthAxis (via CVG), Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is planning on taking PlayStation Network down for maintenance on Easter Monday.

Sony’s Chris Owen confirmed the maintenance on Twitter, though his post has since been removed. However, TSA were able to spot it before it was taken down.

Downtime will reportedly run for 12 hours, starting at 4.00 a.m. BST on April 21 to 4.00 a.m. BST on April 22.

As you’d expect, you won’t be able to access services such as PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management while PSN is down for maintenance. Still, if you’re able to sign in before the downtime, you can still enjoy a spot of online gaming.

Stay tuned.
