Konami today announced that Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories are both coming to the PlayStation Vita, marking a frightful double bill via the PlayStation Network.
Originally released for the PSP, you can procure both games for a reasonable price of £7.99 each. Whether the pair of games are simply ports or remastered versions for the Vita has yet to be confirmed.
Silent Hill: Origins served as a prequel to the legendary series, following Travis Grady, a truck driver who ventures into the dreaded town looking for answers. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories took a step back from the franchise’s conventions and removed all combat elements from the game, hosting as a re-imagining of sorts for the original Silent Hill.
No formal release date was given, so stay tuned to PSU for official confirmation on the release of both games.
