Destiny: Rise of Iron – how to get SHIVA Offerings

Destiny: Rise of Iron introduces a new event for Guardians to participate in the shape of Archon’s Forge—essentially this latest expansion’s version of Court of Oryx from The Taken King.

This all-new public event is open to anyone, and is reported to cough up some worthwhile loot if you’re up to the challenge. However, in order to get started, you will need to acquire one of Destiny’s latest collectibles, namely SIVA offerings. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered with our latest Destiny: Rise of Iron guide.

Destiny Rise of Iron SIVA offerings – what are they?

SIVA offerings are items that are needed in order to activate the Archon’s Forge, and come in three different flavours: Fused, Enhanced, and Perfected, each one increasing in terms of difficulty and recommended Light Level. In addition, each one carries one of five different boss types: Captains, Vandals, Dregs, Servitors, and Shanks.

  • Fused SIVA Offering: Recommended light level 320. Common in rarity. Easiest to find.
  • Enhanced SIVA Offering: Recommended light level 340. Uncommon in rarity.
  • Perfected SIVA Offering: Recommended light level 360. Legendary in rarity.

How to get SIVA Offerings

It’s worth noting right away that Guardians can only carry one SIVA Offering at any one time. However, using the Destiny App you can transfer the object to the vault and pick up another one, so keep that in mind.

Much like other Destiny collectibles, SIVA Offerings are randomly dropped, although there are a few things you should know in order to maximise your chances of nabbing one. These items drop from Splicer enemies in the Plaguelands, so you’ll want to concentrate your efforts in this area and hunt down this type of foe. Archon’s Keep is a solid place to start your hunt, so spend time exterminating Splicer Vandals, Dregs, Servitors, and Shanks that spawn in this area. SIVA Offerings are instantly recognisable as tiny white engrams.

Finally, you should keep in mind that you can collect SHIVA Offerings by defeating the enemies that attack you within the Archon’s Forge event, though they are not guaranteed.
