007 Legends to feature Goldfinger mission

Classic spy outing Goldfinger is the latest James Bond film to be represented in the forthcoming videogame 007 Legends, Activision has confirmed.

The film joins previously-confirmed titles On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day and this year’s Skyfall. As such, this means 007 Legends will represent every single Bond-era to date, with the game covering flicks starring Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

The Goldfinger mission will be bolstered by appearances from the film’s eponymous villain himself, alongside Bond Girl Pussy Galore and the near-indestructible henchman, Oddjob. As with the other mission though, Bond himself will be played by Daniel Craig.

Goldfinger was released in 1964 and starred Sean Connery as the martini-drinking super spy as he attempts to subvert the plans of the movie’s titular criminal mastermind, who plans on dealing a massive financial blow to the USA by detonating an atomic device within the bowels of Fort Knox.

007 Legends is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in October 2012. A Wii U version will also follow for the console’s launched this November.
