Developer 2K Czech has posted a job listing for a new unannounced triple-A project, further bolstering previous reports that the studio is working on Mafia III.
The job listings, spotted by NowGamer, pertain to a “top secret, unannounced & super interesting project” and will facilitate development of the company’s ‘next AAA title.”
Could this be a third entry in the acclaimed Mafia franchise? While nothing has been confirmed, all evidence certainly points that way.
Rumblings of Mafia III have been doing the rounds for some time now, with reports dating back to August (via VG247) claiming the mobster sequel was in development for next-generation consoles.
The latest game in the series, Mafia II, was released back in 2010 for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
