PlayStation Universe is proud to be supporting a charity close to our hearts in memory of Luke Clarke, a gamer and avid music fan who sadly passed away at the age of 24 from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
His friends have rallied together to try and raise money for the Epilepsy Society (Charity Registration No. 206186) by doing something that Luke loved – playing games.
“Luke was a big, hairy, grumpy, funny, talented guy who loved us all very much, we miss him with all our hearts every day,” writes close friend Toni Stottor.
“He had 2 passions, 1 was music and the other was gaming. Since non of us can really play any instruments, we chose to play games for 24 hours straight.”

Starting on September 2 at 12pm until 12pm on September 3, some of Luke’s friends will be playing games and steaming their antics non-stop for 24 hours as they "Fight through the night".
On the agenda is Life is Strange, Until Dawn and LittleBigPlanet on PS4, as well as PC versions of Nier Automata, Outlast 2 and Dark Souls 3.
The amount of money the team are trying to raise is very modest – £420, and at the time of writing money raised amounts to £140.
