The PlayStation 4 has reached one million sales in the U.K., Sony has confirmed today.
It took the system 42 weeks to achieve the sales milestone; by comparison, PS3 reached one million U.K. sales in 46 weeks.
It wasn’t quite enough to beat the Wii’s record though, which took 38 weeks to hit the one million mark.
PS2 reached it in 50 weeks, while the Xbox 360 took 60 weeks to achieve one million sales.
Sony’s new-generation console has already sold over 10 million units worldwide since its launch in November 2013.
