Following the unplanned PSN outage earlier today, reports are coming in that users are slowly but surely being able to sign into the Network.
Though some members of the PlayStation Universe team are still unable to connect, others have now been able to access the Network and are reporting that they also have friends who are online. Some of our Twitter followers and Facebook fans are also reporting they are now able to sign in.
It seems that whatever has happened, Sony has reacted quickly to fix the issue and hopefully we should see everyone back online over the next few hours. Sony has still yet to release an official statement on why the downtime has occurred.
