Namco Bandai has announced that Dark Souls II will be hitting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in spring 2015.
The game will arrive on Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles in the form of the Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, which is also coming to PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360.
Scholar of the First Sin not only includes a copy of From Software’s critically acclaimed action-RPG and its three downloadable expansion packs, but a host of additional content on top of that.
According to Namco’s press release, gamers can look forward to an expanded story with new in-game events and NPCs, plus more fearsome enemies and a variety of gameplay improvements.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will boast enhanced visuals in addition to the extra content described above, as well as ‘several exclusive enhancements.’
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is scheduled to ship on April 3, 2015.
