Sony has announced details on its PlayStation Store discount for customers following the PlayStation Network outage that occurred during the Christmas holidays.
The platform holder pledged a 10 percent discount to all users following the downtime, and today revealed how go about about redeeming the savings.
The discount will run from 9.00 am PST on Friday, January 23 until 9.00 am PST on Monday, January 26. Sony will hand out a promotional code via its Twitter page and the PS Store, allowing you to then slash the price off your cart total.
It’s worth noting that the discount will apply to many items available on the PS Store, bar services such as a PlayStation Plus subscription. Pre-orders, games, TV shows, and movies will all be covered in the discount, however.
Elsewhere, Sony has started to apply its five-day PlayStation Plus membership extension for those who were affected by the PSN outage over the festive period.
