Sony has confirmed that the DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition has not been canceled.
The console maker’s comments come in light of a less-than-positive blurb from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) head honcho, Jim Ryan, during an interview with Metro yesterday.
“We are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible,” Sony told Eurogamer.
“Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch.”
DriveClub PS Plus Edition is a free teaser of the Evolution Studios racer, and was meant to launch alongside the full game last October. However, the game was plagued by numerous server hiccups, which ultimately resulted in the PS Plus Edition being postponed until further notice.
