Resident Evil: Revelations 2 review round-up

Capcom’s first stab at episodic survival horror begins this week with Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the sequel to 2013’s ooze-blasting horror romp that for many saw a return to formula for the venerable franchise. Revelations 2 has attracted much attention from fans, least of all because it signals the return of Claire Redfield and Barry Burton; two fan-favorite characters who have been pushed out of the limelight for the last decade or so.

Quite how the episodic format will pan out for a Resident Evil title remains to be seen, but for now, we have episode one to tuck into. As always with a major release, we’ve taken a round-up of reviews for your consumption.

See below for an idea of what critics thought of Episode 1: Penal Colony. PSU will have a review up as soon as possible.
