The release date for terrifying survival horror game Slender: The Arrival on PS4 has been confirmed as 24 March, 2015.
Along with the announcement comes a brand new trailer showcasing the tension-fuelled atmosphere that players can expect as they scour the woods in search of a lost friend. Armed only with a flashlight, a sense of helplessness soon sets in as players are taken on a psychological journey of exploration, and sheer horror.
Developed by Blue Island Studios, Slender: The Arrival sees players exploring a variety of locations, such as a house, park, and mine, while avoiding the game’s eponymous baddie as they attempt to find out more about his mysterious background.
The game’s main antagonist is Slender Man, a mythical, supernatural character that originated as an internet meme and rose to fame for his terrifying appearance and dark motives. Judging by the trailer, we get the feeling it’s going to be very scary!
Slender: The Arrival was released on Steam in 2013, with a PS3 version following in September 2014. The PS4 version includes extra levels that appeared in the Steam version and will be released alongside the Xbox One version in March.
