Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will be remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to reports from IGN Italy.
Citing ‘trusted sources,’ the website claims that both critically acclaimed superhero adventures—originally released in 2009 and 2011, respectively—will arrive by the end of the year and will run at 1080p.
Interestingly, there’s no mention of 2013’s Batman: Arkham Origins in the collection, although it’s worth noting that Rocksteady didn’t work on this particular game. Instead, development was handled by Warner Bros. Games Montreal.
Nothing official has been announced as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated. Meanwhile, Batman: Arkham Knight is due out on June 23, 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One.
