Bloodborne update 1.02 detailed, fixes progression bug

Sony has released Bloodborne’s first post-launch patch, update 1.02, which eliminates the notorious progress bug among other issues.

Players can download the update now, which weighs in at around 300MB.

While update 1.02 polishes up a number of issues, it does not offer a remedy for the lengthy loading times—that’s coming later, Sony has said.

For those unaware, the progression bug resulted in some gamers being unable to make it any further into the game after taking part in a multiplayer session in the Forbidden Woods. This would result in a key item needed to progress failing to appear.

That’s about all there is to say on the matter, so get downloading, folks. Read our review of Bloodborne here.
