PS4 dominates March 2015 NPD results, Battlefield and Bloodborne lead the pack

NPD results for March 2015 continue the trend that’s cementing PlayStation 4 as the dominant console this generation.

To start, PS4 was once again the top-selling console,

Four of the top five software SKUs in March were on PlayStation 4, and the month’s second-best-selling title was Bloodborne, a PS4 exclusive. Another PS4 exclusive, MLB 15: The Show, earned the month’s number-six spot.

Bloodborne was only beat out by Battlefield Hardline. Here’s the full top 10:

Furthermore, SCEA announced in a statement that in March 2015 alone, U.S. gamers spent over 365 million hours playing PS4. “We are truly honored PlayStation 4 is the top selling console and #1 in software sales again according to NPD sales data for March 2015,” said an SCEA spokesperson. “PS4 remains the cumulative sales leader both globally and in the United States and we want to thank gamers worldwide for their ongoing support.”
